Job Description Job Description Job Summary 1st shift 645am -315pm We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lab Technician II to join our testing and compliance team. This role is responsible for independently setting up and conducting testing on residential and light-commercial HVAC appliances containing electric heat, while ensuring compliance with nationally recognized UL safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced lab environment. Responsibilities Setup and test residential and light-commercial HVAC appliances containing electric heat. Assist with application testing for additional business sectors involving electric heat systems. Conduct testing in accordance with UL safety standards and compliance requirements. Independently interpret UL standards and apply them during testing procedures. Manage and prioritize multiple lab projects simultaneously. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documents. Maintain accurate testing records and documentation. Support lab maintenance and organization. Provide basic mentorship and guidance to Lab Technician I employees. Work safely around electrical systems and equipment daily. Qualifications HVAC, electronics, or related technical background required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation. Comfortable working with electricity and electrical testing equipment. Computer proficiency required; Microsoft Excel experience strongly preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
