Job Description Job Description Electrician Department: 7 – Field Technical Services Reports To: Pump Station Administrator FLSA Status: Non-exempt Pay Grade: 20 Prepared: 2/4/2026 Summary POSITION SUMMARY: The Electrician position will be involved in all facets of electrical troubleshooting and repair of our pump stations and treatment plants. This position will troubleshoot and repair electrical components, build and repair electrical control cabinets. This position will also wire and troubleshoot systems utilizing Programmable Logic Controls. The work requires confined space entries and lock out/tag out of mechanical components and electrical circuits. They must be proficient with fabrication, job organization, and tracking; they must also be proficient with job estimating and providing a breakdown of job costs and completion time. They will also be working directly with the Pump Station Administrator on managing contractors during pump station and treatment plant upgrades and repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ( including, but not limited to, the following): Read and understand electrical schematics. Understand how to safely use electrical meters such as multi-meters and insulation testers and understand the results. Troubleshoot an electrical circuit by reading schematics or field testing Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices. Safely de-energize and lock out an electrical circuit Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment. Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Reassembling machinery or equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear. Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems. Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of pumps, motors and other equipment Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary. Understand and use SD1’s procurement guidelines to order or re-order parts Utilize Lucity CMMS desktop and tablet application to create work orders, document repair and maintenance performed, and update/append records and attributes. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, preferably higher education with a degree or certification in a related field. At least 6 years of commercial/industrial electrical trade experience. Must be organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Effective in operating in an environment with minimal supervision. Must have and maintain a Journeyman or Master Electrician License.

A Chassis Diagnostic Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues related to the chassis systems of recreational vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, braking, steering, and related components. The Chassis Diagnostic Technician requires advanced diagnostic skills and the ability to accurately identify root causes of vehicle performance concerns. Responsibilities: Perform accurate and efficient comprehensive diagnostics on chassis systems including engine, drivetrain, suspension, steering, and braking systems Utilize diagnostic tools, scan tools, and software to identify faults and error codes Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer bulletins Accurately determine root cause of mechanical and electrical failures Document diagnostic procedures, findings, and recommended repairs clearly and thoroughly Communicate findings with service advisors and management Perform necessary repairs or coordinate with appropriate technicians Conduct road tests to verify concerns and confirm repairs Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations Requirements: Experience in automotive, diesel, or RV chassis diagnostics Strong understanding of gasoline and/or diesel engine systems Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and troubleshooting equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and service manuals Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong teamwork and communication with service department staff Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to operate large vehicles (Class A/B RV experience preferred) Experience with RV chassis platforms (Ford, Freightliner, Spartan, ect.) preferred OEM training or certifications preferred
