This is a full-time faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine at the rank of Assistant Professor/Clinical level for a non-tenure track position. The successful candidate must have a strong interest in developing an academic career. The applicant must meet the minimum requirements (MD, DO, board eligible or board certified, Texas Medical license or eligibility, successful completion of an accredited residency/fellowship). The primary duties of the clinical endocrinologist include inpatient at University Hospital and outpatient responsibilities, with opportunities for clinical research and teaching delivered at UT Health San Antonio’s Gateway and the new Multispecialty and Research Hospital. The Division has an outstanding clinical fellowship program. UT Health San Antonio enjoys a collaborative relationship with the adjacent VA Hospital.
