A Brief Overview As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, you will utilize our industry-leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs. Glazing Associate – Immediate Opening Goodyear, AZ $18.00/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional OT) Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM (5:15 AM arrival required) POSITION OVERVIEW: Assembles aluminum, hardware, and glass to make curtainwall and other building enclosure systems. This role will focus on the glazing area ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Read and interpret drawings or diagrams to determine the size, shape, color, type, or thickness of glass, location of framing, installation procedures, or staging or scaffolding materials required for assembly and/or fabrication. • Install metal pieces for glass installation. • Client out, position, align, fasten, and fit together parts of metal and glass products according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following drawings or diagrams. • Uses devices to locate and verify reference points and/or materials and aligns and anchors units, metal supports, and panels. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets or other fasteners, adding sealant around glass edges to seal joints. • Installs glass using caulk guns or caulking machines. • Provide assistance or direction to other employees as needed. • Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and perform safe work practices. • Adhere to company policies and rules. • Complete all other duties as assigned.
