Job Description Title: Breast Imaging Radiologist Location: Decatur GA 30033 Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (M-F) Hours/week: 40 Hours/week Position Overview: We are seeking a Board-Certified Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our team. The physician will play a vital role in diagnosing and evaluating breast health using advanced imaging technologies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Roles and Responsibilities: - Perform breast imaging procedures including mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, and biopsies. - Interpret imaging results and provide consultations to referring physicians. - Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and primary care providers for comprehensive patient care. - Review orders and next-day patient cases for a minimum of two hours daily when needed. - Provide post-procedure evaluation, follow-up, and consultation regarding complications. - Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with the next care setting. Hours of Operation / Scheduling: - Business Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday - Clinic Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday - Coverage: No off-hours coverage required (evenings, weekends, holidays). Qualifications Required • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. • Board Eligible or Board Certified in: o Internal Medicine, or o Family Medicine, or o Emergency Medicine. • Active Ohio Medical License. • Current BLS/CPR Certification (Healthcare Provider Level). • DEA Registration (required for prescribing responsibilities). • Experience in primary care or related clinical practice. Preferred Skills • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities. • Experience managing diverse patient populations. • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices. • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR). • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
