JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, provide and document nursing care at Harris and Smith OB-GYN while utilizing the nursing care process in accordance with physician orders and established procedures. Collect and analyze patient data, document outcomes and patient responses and report necessary information to other staff as needed. Assess and communicate accurate information to physicians to ensure appropriate care. Perform necessary in clinic testing of patient samples of urine and blood with proper use lab equipment such as Clinitek and Hemocue. Collaborates with RN to initiate or revise a plan of care based on needs of patient. Assist other nursing personnel in the delivery of patient care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment; appropriately stock and clean exam rooms. Identify improvement opportunities for clinical, operational and safety related performance. Participate in clinic compliance activities (I.E audits and PI projects) Maintain required competencies for education. Be able to identify learning needs and seek appropriate assistance or educational offerings. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described. JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) strongly preferred. High school or GED graduation required. Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA or ARMA required. BLS required Level I No experience required. Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred. Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure: Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots to safely perform job duties Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction Must be able to squat and touch the floor with both hands Must be able to reach your hands over your head Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders. As a Program Supervisor, you’ll gain hands-on leadership experience while working alongside experienced BCBAs to create meaningful change for children and families. You’ll mentor Behavior Therapists, support individualized treatment programs, and continue building the clinical and supervisory skills needed for long-term success in the field.
