Job Title Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU / Stepdown) Location Englewood, Colorado Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac progressive/intermediate care unit with a 30-bed capacity and a 1:4–1:5 patient ratio Manage post-procedural care for patients following cardiac catheterizations, TAVRs, ablations, watchman procedures, and pacemaker implantations Deliver pre- and post-operative care for open-heart surgical patients including CABGs, valve repairs/replacements, and aortic dissection repairs Provide post-thoracic surgery care including chest tube management and care following VATs/RATs, resections, and lobectomies Operate and monitor specialized equipment including telemetry, transport monitors, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high-flow oxygen, chest tubes, pacer wires, and IV/feeding pumps Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs and PCTs within a fast-paced cardiac center of excellence Required Qualifications Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care PCU/progressive care hospital experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Proficiency with EMR systems (Meditech experience applicable) Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with chest tube management including removal, and pacer wire removal Proficiency with 12-lead EKG interpretation and oxygen management up to BiPAP and heated high-flow Experience managing cardiac drips including heparin, diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, dobutamine, milrinone, and ketamine Background in vascular surgery post-operative care and neurovascular checks Why Join Us Work within a recognized cardiac center of excellence on a high-acuity unit offering diverse procedural exposure and a collaborative, experienced team environment Ideal for adaptable, high-energy nursing professionals who thrive in fast-paced cardiac care settings About Concentric Healthcare Staffing Founded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
