State of California: $173,949 - $328,354 State of Colorado: $166,386 - $277,838 State of Illinois: $166,386 - $277,838 State of Massachusetts: $181,512 - $303,096 State of Maryland: $181,512 - $303,096 State of Minnesota: $158,823 - $265,209 The Opportunity As a Principal Consultant, Transactions Advisory Solution, you will have the opportunity to: Provide technical or industry knowledge to contribute to the completion of multiple engagement phases Demonstrate capabilities with minimal level of oversight from more senior level professionals Contribute to projects that are generally medium to large in size or own a moderate to significant portion of a larger project Lead a medium to large size effort or project team Delegate team work assignments through various phases of an engagement Manage projects from prospect, proposal to client deliverable Likely manage multiple projects at any given time Demonstrate experience with providing independent engineering services, M&A advisory, valuation and other related services supporting clients in transactional due diligence, and managing a team of engineers, managers, consultants, and financial analysts to complete report deliverables Focus on project management and develop sales responsibilities Preferred location for this role is Denver, Chicago, or Gaithersburg. Strong candidates in other listed locations will be considered. Key Responsibilities Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of electric generation, oil & gas, transmission, water, digital infrastructure, and/or renewable energy technologies Utilizes specialized knowledge to produce complex work products and solutions across all phases of an engagement Manages moderate to highly complex engagements through all stages and phases Develops, presents, and defends conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans Secures commitment and participation from the client’s senior management by leveraging relationships Searches for new consulting opportunities with existing or new clients Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic direction and objectives of a service offering Preferred Qualifications 5 years managing significant engagements Knowledge and experience with: power generation technologies, utilities, O&G infrastructure, water/wastewater technologies, digital infrastructure, and/or electric power commercial and regulatory practices Advanced technical or industry knowledge Broad knowledge of the marketplace Project management, client management and negotiation skills Intermediate business development capability and 2 years of business development experience Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience Has managed significant engagements 10 years in a business/consulting environment All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
