Prepare single and shielded wires for termination, crimp contacts to prepared wires, terminate simple cables to connectors, and load and operate heat treat and annealing ovens. Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations. Ability to read, follow, and understand verbal instructions, product/process specifications, drawings, and work orders in English. Ability to use calculators. Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to the use of hand tools. Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdowns. Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts. High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Preferred Skills: Good communication skills for potential customer interaction.
