Under the general direction of the Administrative Manager, the Medical Assistant for the Lung Transplant will perform a range of duties in line with the standard work of a medical assistant and includes coordinating patient flow, taking of vital signs, and providing secretarial support to the practice by answering the phone, scheduling appointments and other office work as needed. The Medical Assistant must be able to organize priorities, complete tasks, manage confidential patient information; schedule appointments, review and document diagnostic testing, and interact with patients in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs. Hours: * Monday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM * Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM * Thursday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM Obtains and records vital signs, weights, blood pressure, O2 usage along with other documentation deemed necessary prior to seeing the provider.
