As a Principal on the Solution Consulting team, you partner with Sales to drive net new business for Guild. You work with prospective employer partners to design programs and supporting business cases that will meet their talent objectives, unlock opportunity for their workforce, and deliver a strong ROI. You collaborate closely with a range of internal Guild teams to ensure that employer partnerships are set up for successful implementation and delivery. Key Responsibilities Partner with Sales to develop sales strategy, confidently build executive-level buy-in with employer prospects and close deals, leveraging industry/Guild expertise and influence. Independently manage deal design from start to implementation handoff, with a focus on more complex deals Build supporting business cases for employer prospects including budget and ROI model. Lead solutioning with cross-functional teams to problem solve and set up employer partnerships for smooth hand-offs and launches Tailor solution and program design to meet employer needs based on deep understanding of Guild’s solution and capabilities (including policy recommendations, pathways and catalog buildout, and integrating new positioning and solution capabilities) Share learnings and feedback internally to help up-level how we go to market and advance deals Leverage pattern recognition and experience across deals to identify and elevate key insights and opportunities internally, actively contributing to enhance our GTM strategy and motion, positioning, and overall solution Contribute to the team culture of collaboration, high performance, curiosity, empathy, and trust Required Experience 8 years of relevant experience in solution consulting, sales engineering, strategy consulting, business development, or related fields, ideally within enterprise B2B or SaaS environments. Demonstrated success partnering with Sales teams to develop and execute complex sales strategies, especially for large enterprise or strategic accounts. Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and effectively communicate business value to senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives. Experience designing or influencing customized enterprise solutions that align with client goals, budgets, and ROI expectations. Strong track record of managing cross-functional deal cycles , coordinating across internal stakeholders such as product, marketing, and implementation teams. Deep understanding of solution design and consultative selling , with the ability to identify customer challenges and align solutions accordingly. Comfort navigating ambiguity and off-menu problem solving , bringing creative solutions to unique client scenarios. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with experience creating and presenting business cases, financial models, or ROI analyses . Demonstrated experience using market insights and pattern recognition to influence GTM strategy, product development, or messaging. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven, and fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $148,300 - $226,150, variable compensation, and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity. Our home and headquarters in Denver, but some of our roles allow for remote work, allowing us to reach the best talent across the US.
