The program is structured to manage the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease, from preventive and general cardiology to advanced interventions, heart failure, transplant, structural heart disease, and complex electrophysiology. This academic integration allows physicians to care for some of the most complex cardiac and vascular patients in the region while remaining engaged in teaching and scholarly activity. Programs include advanced heart failure and transplant, congenital heart disease, structural heart interventions, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular and endovascular surgery. In 2025, the program performed 29 heart transplants. Education and training are cornerstones of the program.
