Job Description Providence Medical Group - Northwest is seeking a full-time General Cardiology nurse practitioner or physician assistant for the Mill Creek and Everett, Washington clinics. This is a great opportunity to join a well-supported and growing team. The team is currently staffed with 4 APPs and are expanding to include 2 additional APP providers. Position responsibilities include the outpatient Cardiology clinic, inpatient general Cardiology coverage and stress tests, and some administrative support to your care team. The main clinic is based on the campus of Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, located just 25 miles north of downtown Seattle. Schedule is 4 days a week, 10-hour days, no night call and approximately 1 in 7 weekends (weekends are included as part of the 4-day rotation). The position is at the tenure, or non-tenure accruing level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful applicant should have completed three years in an ACGME accredited Cardiovascular Fellowship and should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine with strong interest and expertise in non-invasive imaging including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and nuclear studies. The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Toledo currently provides clinical services to the community of NW Ohio and SE Michigan for all types of cardiovascular diseases. An important aspect of the mission of the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is educating medical students, residents, and fellows through advanced training programs in the core disciplines of non-invasive and invasive cardiology. A significant responsibility includes teaching as required, and training fellows, residents, and students. Weekend and/or holiday service as an attending physician on the inpatient service commensurate with peers. Conduct independent research in line with the goals of the Department of Medicine. Norton Childrens ENT & Audiology is a regional referral destination and the tertiary care center for medically complex patients. It offers high-tech endoscopy and surgical suites, and community engagement with regional and state-run clinics for children with special health care needs.
