Our house supervisors are responsible for the flow of patients throughout our building, from ED to inpatient and from inpatient to discharge. They are often responsible for conflict management, service recovery and critical thinking in difficult times. The beauty of the position is that every day is different, they have standard responsibilities such as flow, responding to codes, and some audits, however the day is filled with handling whatever issues arise in the moment. They are a leader in the building whether it's during night shift and/or weekends and as such are called upon to handle difficult situations. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State.
