This role will focus heavily on electrical troubleshooting, leading preventive maintenance (PM) programs, and mentoring junior technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform and lead troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Coordinate and execute scheduled PMs and work orders using CMMS. Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to maintenance techs. Maintain and repair facility equipment, including motors, conveyors, control panels, packaging machines, and refrigeration support systems. Collaborate with production, QA, and sanitation teams to minimize downtime and support production goals. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA, USDA, and food safety standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs, PMs, and equipment logs. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or plant upgrades. Qualifications: 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in food or manufacturing environments. Strong expertise in electrical troubleshooting (480V, 3-phase, PLCs, sensors, motors, VFDs). Solid understanding of mechanical systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics. Experience leading or mentoring other maintenance techs.
