JP Drain Management and Removal Manage inpatient surgical consults, emergency department consults, and urgent evaluations. Independently manage post-operative and critically ill neurosurgery patients, with appropriate escalation. Participate in hospital call coverage, including nights and weekends, addressing emergent patient needs. First assist in the operating room as needed. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, formulate treatment plans, and perform timely documentation in the EMR. Educate patients and families on surgical conditions, procedures, and care plans. Collaborate with physicians, residents, nursing, and ancillary teams to ensure seamless patient care. *Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. *Performs other duties as assigned.
