Job Responsibilities: Diagnosis, troubleshoot, and make necessary repairs. Included but not limited to engines, chassis, axels, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform scheduled & preventative maintenance on Ducks and fleet vehicles. Conducts failure analysis, repairs, and components correctly. Included but not limited to differentials, transfer cases, and axles. Conduct overhauls as needed during off-season Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns during peak season Work with Drivers on vehicle concerns and outstanding maintenance issues. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years hands on experience (diesel engines/heavy equipment preferred) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability and comfortability to work on 6ft/8ft ladders The drive and willingness to learn and grow within Boston Duck Tours Valid Drivers License CDL preferred, not required. (Additional $1.50 p/hr.) Welding knowledge preferred, not required (Additional $1.50 p/hr.) Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
