Job Title Travel RN – Emergency Department (Evenings) Location Springfield, Missouri Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | 36 or 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Onsite Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and maintain professional accountability Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality Function within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act Perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting, and pushing patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs; push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications Current RN License – must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility, or minimum 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility; experience level must be indicated on resume BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only TNCC certification required NIHSS certification required prior to start date (candidates may be submitted without but must obtain before starting) Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with trauma and pediatric patient populations High-acuity emergency department experience in a facility seeing 200 patients per day Familiarity with EPIC EMR Determined, decisive, and flexible personality well-suited to a busy urban trauma environment Why Join Us Work in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, and regional burn center emergency department with a 68-bed unit and a standard patient ratio of 4:1 Springfield, MO offers a vibrant mix of attractions, local dining, breweries, museums, and outdoor parks — a great destination for travel clinicians About Concentric Healthcare Staffing Founded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
