Fellowship in cardiology, with specific training in interventional cardiology. License & Certifications: Board certification in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Additional board certification or fellowship completion in interventional cardiology. Active and unrestricted medical license in Arizona. Experience: While specific requirements may vary, most locum interventional cardiologist positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an Interventional Cardiology Physician looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed starting April 6, 2026, and ongoing for 26 weeks . Job Details: Case Types: Diagnostic cath, angioplasty, stenting, stress echo, nuclear stress, reading echos, holters, event monitors, TEEs, and cardioversions. Setting: Outpatient Clinic with inpatient rounding and consults. Schedule: Clinic: Mon Thu (9:00 AM 3:30 PM) and Fri (8:00 AM 12:00 PM). Call: Weekday rotation (8:00 AM 8:00 AM) and Weekend call (8:00 AM Fri to 8:00 AM Mon). Support: Physician-led role; rounding on clinic patients and 5 10 inpatient consults per day.
