Position Summary: The Electric NERC Compliance Consultant, Principal core function is to lead the compliance and/or risk management framework & tools that enable the organization and employees to conduct business in compliance with NERC applicable standards, laws & regulations, and/or to identify, manage, and mitigate operational risk. The Electric NERC Compliance Consultant, Principal will lead collaboration with Electric Engineering, Asset management and Planning, and Electric Operations business units and the Enterprise NERC Compliance Office to guide mitigation planning, shaping risk-based decisions, aligning cross-functional partners, and influencing policy and regulatory strategy across WECC, FERC and CAISO. The selected candidate must live within PG&E's service territory and will be expected to work in the office 2-3 days/week. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * Certificate or Associates Degree from accredited trade/vocational school. * Strong knowledge of the maintenance and installation of HVAC/Refrigeration equipment * Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems * Strong experience in troubleshooting equipment and replacing faulty components * Universal EPA Technician Certification preferred, but Level 2 or 3 is acceptable. * Ability to meet deadlines * Ability to professionally interact with other shops and various departments. * Must be able to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guests, co-workers and park management. * Ability to write, speak and comprehend English. * Able to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, standing for long periods of time, working in tight spaces and climbing, * Knowledge of OSHA and EPA rules/ regulations. * Ability to work outside in any weather conditions, nights, weekends and holidays. * Valid Drivers' License and clean DMV report. * Employees are required to supply their own hand tools Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
