ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares raw bar stock and tubing for use in equipment parts. · Program, set up and run a Proto TRAK-DPMRX2 or similar CNC mill · Engineer setups on machines · Deburr parts on vertical sander · Push carts of raw material to proper shelf and unload · Operate manual mill · Operate stationary drill press · Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Incumbent shall have a High School diploma and a minimum two years of prior relevant work experience or vocational training. PREFERRED SKILLS • Ability to read tape measure, micrometer and combination square • Ability to interpret layout drawings • Basic shop math skills and the ability to read parts prints • Ability to mill, drill and sand • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. • Ability to stand for 8 hours per day • Routine bending and squatting to get parts off pallets and return finished parts to pallet • Occasional driving of stand-up or sit down forklift • Ability to follow directions • Ability to work around moving machines, equipment • Ability to use hands and arms (reach above head when necessary) • Strong work ethic • Good attendance/punctuality • Ability to talk, hear frequently • Ability to walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, etc. • Abides by company policy on matters related to civil rights of employees (e.g., sexual har M-F 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
