Manage external vendors and contractors, including reviewing and approving service, parts, and equipment quotations. Maintain equipment readiness to minimize impact on production operations. Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, SQF, HACCP, and other safety and food safety regulations. Manage compliance and training related to safety procedures such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Confined Space Entry. Lead maintenance-related audit responses and documentation management. Oversee emergency response and support related to wastewater treatment facilities and utility systems. Supervise maintenance mechanics and related personnel, including work assignments, training, performance management, and skill development. Drive equipment efficiency improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. Perform other maintenance-related duties based on plant operations and organizational needs. Qualifications / Skills: Minimum 5–8 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a Supervisor or Manager role. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred; experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Experience managing maintenance operations within food manufacturing or FDA-regulated environments preferred. Knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA regulations, and audit response experience preferred. Experience with boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, utility systems, and wastewater treatment systems preferred. Strong maintenance organization and personnel management skills.
