Identifies strategies to affect outcomes. - Regulatory compliance and compliance with accreditation agencies -such as NCQA and TDI. About the Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist Position The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT) are seeking experienced pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists to join the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease. Candidates will possess experience in caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease and adults with congenital heart disease.Primary responsibilities will include oversight and provision of direct care to patients prior to, during, and after cardiac surgery. Other responsibilities include developing and implementing care protocols, overseeing the QI registries pertinent to Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia and to oversee education, quality assurance and ongoing performance improvement initiatives.Candidates will also participate in coordinated outreach efforts for the Center. A successful candidate will have an appointment within the Department of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery at Dell Medical School, and regular participation in educational activities with medical students and residents will be expected. Hospitalist - Physician

TeamHealth has a new day shift hospitalist opening at St. David's Georgetown Hospital in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA staffed with internal medicine hospitalists and nocturnists that are all local to Austin. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule. St. David's Georgetown has 118 beds but only 50 beds are handled by the hospitalist program. We are currently staffing with 2 daytime physicians (7a-7p); 1 swing physician (2p-7p), and 1 nocturnist physician (7p-7a). This is a closed ICU setting, averaging 20-22 total patient encounters per day shift clinician and an average of 7 admissions at night, seeing 60-70 cross coverage patients. We do not require our clinicians to perform procedures within this role. You only need to respond to codes for your patients, so you are able to assist the codes team.
