Position Summary Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a cross-functional substation asset failure analysis & reliability program. Ensures effective program execution through strong governance, data visibility, performance monitoring, and stakeholder alignment. Drives standardization of processes, establishes clear roles and accountability, and integrates workflows with enterprise data systems to enable consistent, scalable, and data-driven decision-making. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need. This role requires a regular presence in San Ramon, at least once every two weeks. Responsible for the overall management of scope, schedule, and cost. Identifies gaps in existing processes and drives process improvement. Monitors the overall Capital Budget for Electric Transmission Engineering spend. Manages Transmission Engineering to drive improvements in efficiency and quality by driving improvement and deconstructing and restructuring processes when necessary, so that they fit the work at hand. Strategically plans resource allocation and utilization in engineering teams. Looks at projected workload verses existing internal resources and makes appropriate contracting and staffing allocation decisions. Leads process improvement initiatives and projects internally to the department and participates broadly in related initiatives across the line of business. Benchmarks internally and externally to PG&E on project management and engineering practices. May present papers at project management and engineering conferences or participate in other industry activities. Manages staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management and rewards and recognition. Develops and manages department budget regularly monitoring expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances. Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree 8 years of progressive experience in either Project Management or Engineering. 5 years of experience supervising either a Project Management function or Engineering function. Position Summary Ignitions Incident Specialists are responsible for understanding where wildfire risk has actualized, in terms of PG&E facility ignition events, to inform experts where there may be gaps in our barriers intended to prevent wildfires in support of our stand that Catastrophic Wildfires Shall Stop. This team is charged with maintaining the source of truth on PG&E electric ignitions and leading a matrixed team of experts tasked with understanding the cause of ignition events which help to inform/drive wildfire mitigation strategies. This includes reporting on incidents to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), investigating electric ignition events to determine the origin and cause and to help inform corrective or preventive measures to mitigate recurrence. The ignitions investigations team at PG&E is a first of its kind in the utility space and, as such, as other utilities from around the world begin to recognize the importance of addressing wildfire risk, they will benchmark with this team as a model for their own investigations team development. 1 year of Dialysis Experience Required PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The professional registered nurse Inpatient RN CAP 2 may be an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) for new employees who meet the RN CAP 2 criteria or attained through advancement from CAP 1.
