Key Responsibilities: Nocturnist Intensivists will rotate through the 21-bed MICU & 20-bed CVICU (i.e. one Intensivist in MICU & one intensivist in CVICU overnight). We are a teaching hospital with Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Family Medicine, and Surgery residency programs. Utilize Cerner, the hospital’s internal informatics platform to ensure efficient and accurate patient care documentation. Living and Working in Visalia: Our location is the gateway to the Sierra Mountain Range. We are about an hour from Kings Canyon, Yosemite, and the Sierra National Forrest. Year-round Mediterranean climate with access to excellent hiking and outdoor activities. Overall low cost of living and exceptional schools make for an excellent place to call home. Several team members commute from Fresno/Clovis, a larger community, about 50 minutes north of Visalia.
