Job Description Organization Overview This opportunity is with a privately owned, well-established urgent care group serving the greater New Haven area. The organization operates six standalone urgent care centers, each located within approximately 35 minutes of one another. Clinics provide full-service urgent care, workers’ compensation evaluations, and select primary care services. Providers are supported by experienced medical assistants, on-site X-ray, labs, procedure rooms, and an efficient workflow using the Experity EMR platform. Each facility is designed to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, walk-in clinical environment. Position Summary The group is seeking multiple Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its urgent care network across six nearby locations. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients of all ages, perform standard urgent care procedures, and support occupational medicine services. You may work independently at times or alongside another physician or advanced practice provider, depending on the shift and site volume. Responsibilities: Patient Care: Conduct thorough evaluations, diagnose hematologic and oncologic conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and preferences. Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy: Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic treatments, monitoring patients closely for efficacy and adverse effects. Hematologic Disorders: Manage a wide range of hematologic disorders, including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, clotting disorders, and hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
