Job Description Pediatric Diagnostic Radiologist The Department of Radiology at Childrens Mercy Kansas City and the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC-SOM) seek a clinical / academic diagnostic pediatric radiologist to join a highly specialized academic Pediatric Radiology group. This position will be placed at Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital (a 195-bed childrens hospital) in the St. Louis metropolitan area. This position includes a collegial, private practice style work environment with autonomous management of pediatric imaging that also includes teleradiology access to subspecialty academic pediatric radiologists at Childrens Mercy Hospital. The candidate should be CAQ-certified or CAQ-eligible in Pediatric Radiology. The position entails practice within all aspects of pediatric imaging, excluding nuclear medicine, cardiac imaging and interventional radiology. Teaching duties include radiology residents from multiple residency programs. Research opportunities also are available but not required. Academic appointments will be through the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine with an adjunct appointment at St. Louis University School of Medicine.
