The Operator is responsible for producing quality printed sheets, boards, or rolls. We offer paid relocation help to candidates with prior experience. The job duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Operate and troubleshoot multiple digital presses: Flatbed and Roll Presses – Durst presses and Inca Onset devices. Accurately interpret, document, and communicate diagnostic feedback from equipment and act upon information to resolve production, maintenance, and repair issues. Perform color matching of the supplied material. Read and understand job tickets. Complete necessary job paperwork. About the Role As an Offset First Press Operator , you’ll play a critical role in operating and maintaining the press equipment, while guiding the crew to meet and exceed production standards, while delivering exceptional print quality, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment What You’ll Do Operate and maintain the press and all auxiliary equipment. Direct and guide crew members to achieve productivity and quality goals. Keep accurate records of delay time during the shift. Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Perform press set-up and maintenance procedures. Troubleshoot unit, folder, reel, and stacker problems with minimal delay. This role consists of the following: Receiving Physically receive materials into facilities, reconcile item numbers and quantities to purchase order, and update inventory system with items, quantities and locations. Unload finished goods from intercompany shipments and put into correct locations. Pull orders for finished goods, stage them for shipment and load trucks. Load & Unload Trucks Transport finished goods to warehouse and put in racks in accordance to the inventory system. Housekeeping and Maintenance - keep shipping and receiving areas clear of debris, organized and in line with safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse facility. Other projects and duties as assigned.
