Responsibilities for concrete foreman Ensure the safety of the crew, equipment and client visitors to the work site by complying with company policies and procedures OSHA safety standards Read a tape measure, blueprints, and construction/engineering notes Initiate daily performance dialogues with foreman and ensure that those are dialogues are being passed down Reads and interprets instructions/documentation and plans work activities Obtains all service work orders from assigned supervisor Reviews all service orders and ensures they are completed on time, staffed properly and the quality of work meets approved standards Maintains database of all Concrete activities his crew performs Ensures the DCP Concrete SOP is strictly adhered to Assigns work to his concrete crew Reviews all concrete related estimates for new work and service work assigned to his crew Qualifications for concrete foreman Extensive experience operating and performing preventive maintenance on maintenance equipment such as backhoes, farm tractors, forklifts, rubber-tired loaders, etc Possess the required level of computer skills necessary for this position Ability to successfully complete GDOT maintenance and safety procedural training Ability to successfully supervise others Ability to assist/teach others by guiding and providing constructive feedback Ability to successfully interact with others to influence, motivate, and challenge them Company Description We are a trusted local and national company that will hold a level of quality and maintain a life long relationship. Construction Superintendent

Job Description Job Description R & D Paving is looking for an experienced field superintendent to oversee field operationsfor site development and road construction projects. Responsibilities include: Have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the overall project including but not limited to contract drawings, project specifications and any subsequent change orders or addenda. Manager earthwork, grading, drainage, underground utilities, roadway coonstruction, asphalt paving, concrete work and related site activities Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress. Report any problems promptly in an effort to facilitate the most cost-effective solutions. Maintain project schedules and ensure that work performed is consistent with the contract and will meet or exceed client expectations. Ensure that all materials and equipment delivered to the project are in compliance with approved submittals and shop drawings. Ensure that all items scheduled for inspections are pre-inspected for compliance Identify any potential additional work that would require change orders and communicate to Project Manager Review projects daily to ensure that all activities are being performed in accordance with safety plan, in addition to OSHA or other governing body standards. Confirm all subcontractors are adhering to safety standards Identify safety issues and make all necessary corrections Complete daily reports (time sheets) and maintain logs of key activities Recommend staff development needs, disciplinary actions, job assignments and promotions Field measure and submit quantities for pay applications monthly Requirements/Skills: Minimum 3 plus years of superintendent experience in site develoopment, heavy civil or roadway construction Experience managinga team of 3 employees Experience and knowledge of roadway and site deveopment construction means and methods, project administration, and a thorough understanding of industry practices Experience with earthwork, underground utilites, paving operations, MOT and drainage systems Anility to read and interpret plans Provide leadership as part of a changing environment Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Valid Driver’s license required *Compensation based on experience* This position is a full time salaried exempt classification and will include overtime as needed. Weekends and evenings, although infrequent, may be required.

FIRST SHIFT (7 AM to 3:30 PM) AND SECOND SHIFT (2:30 PM to 11:30 PM) Essential Functions and Duties: o Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. o Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. o Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function. o Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. o Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications. o Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts. o Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. o Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. o Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Job Qualifications: o 2 Years proven experience as CNC operator. o Good working knowledge of GD&T dimensioning, geometry, shop math and measuring instruments. o Journeyman understanding of machine practices. o Effective communication and interpersonal skills. o Strong problem-solving skills. o Motivated and shows willingness to learn and teach others the machining skills for them to advance and grow. o Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude. o Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM, Mastercam experience is a plus, but not required. o High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus. o Successfully completed apprenticeship is required.
