Responsibilities: AP AP & AR Specialist will be the sole person responsible for AP. 150 checks/week – will key invoices into Yardi. Will code and attach the PDF copies into the system, then submit for approval. Once the invoice is approved, it will be pushed back to the AP & AR Specialist to push forward to next step: electronic payment or printing a check. Our client is in the process of implementing their EFT system – they have a consultant who is building an ACH batch in Yardi). For ACH payments, our client processes the ACH auto debit from the bank. The Controller runs the ACH payments through system then manually goes into the bank system to enter the ACH’s, approx. 20-30 ACH’s/month. Within the next month, the check printing will be halved but some of their vendors still prefer checks. Will be mailing out the checks. AR AP & AR Specialist will be the sole person responsible for AR. Volume is small = 10 invoices/month (Can be time consuming putting all the PDF’s/receipts together). Controller will run a list of deposits from bank and AP & AR Specialist will apply open receipts to the payments. Possibly sending a few emails a month to follow up on outstanding payments. Other related accounting tasks as needed.
