Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Make a meaningful impact as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher providing dedicated support to preschool children with disabilities ages 3-5 in a center-based setting. This contract position focuses on nurturing each child's cognitive, social, communicative, and physical growth through daily, play-based routines. You’ll collaborate with families and a supportive multidisciplinary team, laying a strong foundation for the children’s future learning and development. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs Conduct student assessments and in-class observations to guide eligibility, set goals, and inform high-quality instruction Work collaboratively with families, general education staff, and related service providers to support children’s progress Provide direct guidance to paraprofessionals assisting in classroom activities Foster a positive, engaging classroom environment using evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional strategies Track and report on student progress, ensuring alignment with developmental milestones Participate in team meetings, share expertise, and coordinate care Support both morning (9:30-12:00) and afternoon (1:00-3:30) sessions, adhering to a Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:00 schedule Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid Early Childhood Special Education licensure Prior experience in preschool or early childhood SPED settings Strong collaboration and communication skills Proficiency in developing IEPs and progress monitoring Passion for fostering growth through play-based, inclusive learning This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families within a caring and collaborative educational environment.
