Position Summary and Requirements The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental needs and adheres to the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other team members, the RN provides tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care by utilizing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and clinical outcomes that enhance overall departmental performance. Conducts procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in patient medical records. Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding. Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-medical follow-up strategies, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management techniques. Implements evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to meet and surpass quality benchmarks, enhancing the exceptional care provided to patients. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the quality of care by coordinating, assessing, customizing, and delivering a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery. Qualifications Needed: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be acquired within 30 days of starting employment. Trauma Nursing Core Course certification must be completed within one year of starting employment. Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license. A diploma in nursing or an Associate Degree in nursing is required.
