Were currently looking for aConstruction & Grading Foreman II to lead field crews on heavy civil construction projects in the Flathead Valley and beyond. Qualities We're Looking For Driven self starters that are motivated to do really good work Positive people with a great attitude Coachable people that are open to feedback and constructive criticism Hard workers that are innovative and humble People who do things the right way, not the fast way What You'll Do Lead and oversee daily operations of excavation, grading, and underground utility crews Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet schedule and quality goals Operate heavy equipment as needed (excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, rollers) Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Set grades using lasers and grade rods; GPS experience Ensure job site safety by enforcing company and OSHA standards Communicate clearly with project managers, inspectors, and crew members Train and mentor crew members in equipment use, safety, and quality standards Monitor progress, solve problems on site, and report issues proactively Travel to out-of-town job sites Support site cleanup and light equipment maintenance What You Bring 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction (utilities, grading, or site work) 3 years of leadership experience as a foreman or crew lead Proficiency operating a wide range of heavy equipment Ability to read blueprints and independently set grade Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills Focus on safety and compliance in dynamic field environments Valid drivers license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary Familiarity with Topcon GPS and light mechanical skills a plus Able to work year-round, with some seasonal variation Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) Year 1: 80% employer-paid premiums (family coverage) Years 23: 90% employer-paid Year 4: 100% employer-paid 401(k) with Profit Sharing Performance Bonuses Company Vehicle for travel to/from job sites Paid Lodging for out-of-town projects 3 Paid Holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) Employee Assistance Program Free counseling sessions Paid Training & Development As approved by your supervisor Pre-Employment Requirements Pre-employment drug screening and physical required Join LHC, Inc.
