This is a rare opportunity for a founding VP of Enterprise Sales to build the commercial function for an innovative healthcare analytics company focused on specialty pharmacy, high-cost specialty therapies, and payer performance. This is not a role for someone who primarily managed existing accounts or led large sales teams. We're looking for a player-coach enterprise hunter who has repeatedly opened executive doors, created enterprise pipeline from zero, and personally closed complex healthcare data, analytics, or technology platform deals with health plans, PBMs, specialty pharmacies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Initially, you'll be the commercial organization. Over time, you'll build it. What You'll Do Build and execute the company's enterprise sales strategy from the ground up. Personally generate net-new pipeline by prospecting, networking, leveraging executive relationships, and opening new enterprise opportunities. Sell complex healthcare analytics, specialty pharmacy, and data-driven solutions to: - Health Plans - Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) - Specialty Pharmacy Organizations - Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Navigate enterprise sales cycles ranging from 6–18 months. Develop relationships with executive buyers across pharmacy, market access, managed care, medical affairs, value-based care, and commercial leadership. Present compelling business cases demonstrating clinical, operational, and financial value. Partner directly with executive leadership to refine market positioning, messaging, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution. Help define commercial processes, sales playbooks, and customer engagement strategies. Build and scale the commercial organization as revenue grows. Who We're Looking For 10 years of enterprise healthcare sales experience. Proven success carrying an individual quota and consistently exceeding revenue targets. Demonstrated success building enterprise pipeline from scratch—not simply managing inherited accounts. Track record personally sourcing and closing complex enterprise opportunities with: - Health Plans - PBMs - Specialty Pharmacy Organizations - Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Experience selling healthcare analytics, healthcare technology, SaaS, data platforms, claims analytics, pharmacy analytics, population health, specialty pharmacy technology, or similar enterprise solutions. Experience managing long, consultative enterprise sales cycles involving multiple executive stakeholders. Strong understanding of: - Specialty Pharmacy - Pharmacy Benefit - Medical Benefit - Payer Strategy - Managed Care - Market Access - Value-Based Care - Reimbursement Outstanding executive presentation, consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup-style environment. Highly Preferred Existing executive relationships within national and regional health plans, PBMs, or pharmaceutical manufacturers. Experience as a founding sales executive, first commercial hire, or early-stage sales leader. Experience selling into pharmacy leadership, managed care, market access, or value-based care organizations. Experience helping define go-to-market strategy while personally driving revenue growth.
