Hours PRN (24-hour shifts, 12 HR AM and 12 HR PM shifts) Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program Current Missouri APRN license or eligibility for licensure National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) Current BLS and NRP certifications NICU experience preferred Strong clinical judgement, communication and teamwork skills Commitment to patient-centered and family-focused care Ability to manage high-acuity neonatal patients in coordination with the 24/7 in house neonatologist Experience in Level III or Level IV NICU settings Delivery room experience Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of neonatal patients in the NICU setting Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to critically ill and premature infants Preform advanced neonatal procedures including intubation, line placement, lumbar puncture, and neonatal resuscitation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Communicate effectively with families regarding patient status, treatment plans, and education Participate in delivery attendance for high-risk births Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation via EPIC EMR Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based neonatal practices

Description :Job Profile Summary This pharmacist position is responsible for patient care including operational and clinical pharmacy services to adult patients in the Neurotrauma Intensive Care Unit (NTICU), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Step-Down unit. Specific unit responsibilities and patient care rounding experiences will vary based on the position outline below as well as involvement in special projects.
