Responsibilities: Set up and maintain CNC machining centers Read and interpret engineering drawings and setup documentation Perform tooling setup and maintenance, including drills, end mills, taps, and reamers Install and remove vises, fixtures, and workholding devices safely and accurately Perform routine machine maintenance, including coolant upkeep and filter changes Troubleshoot CNC machining programs and setup issues Calibrate probes, tool setters, and other setup equipment Adjust tool and work offsets as needed Prepare materials using band saws, surface grinders, and related equipment Machine precision parts accurately and efficiently Operate forklifts and lifting equipment safely Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications: Associate degree in Machining or equivalent technical training preferred, OR 5 years of CNC machining experience Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience with CNC machine setup and troubleshooting Strong understanding of shop math and precision measurement Own basic machinist tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Compensation & Benefits: $28–$35/hr, depending on experience Direct Hire opportunity Stable, long-term career with an established manufacturer Comprehensive benefits package available This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
