Industrial Sewing Machine Operator and Quality Control

Job Description Job Description The schedule Monday–Thursday 6:30 am–3:30 pm, Friday 6:30 am–11:30 am. That’s a 4.5-day work week at base. Overtime is available daily before or after your shift and some Saturdays — it’s there if you want to build your paycheck, not mandatory if you don’t. Experience: No sewing experience? That’s fine — we’ll teach you everything. What matters more is that you show up, pay attention, and work well with a team. About us: TLC Kanvas is a family-owned, Women Business Enterprise that has been manufacturing custom sewn fabric products since 1980. Our customers are major names in the automotive, heavy truck, and power sports industries. The products you’ll make — protective covers, reusable dunnage bags, and in-production racks — end up on assembly lines across the country. It’s real manufacturing work with a tangible result you can point to. Visit www.Hold-True.com to learn more about us. Your pay grows with your ability We start between $13–$16.50/hr depending on what you bring to the table. We don’t have a fixed review calendar — raises are based on performance, not time served. Our fastest-developing operators have received multiple raises in their first year. The first review can come as soon as 30–90 days in, depending on how quickly you develop. What the work looks like Job Description: You’ll operate industrial sewing machines to assemble fabric components into finished protective products. The work is hands-on and detail-oriented, and you’ll typically move between operations rather than doing one thing all day. Some operators also assist with quality control — checking and finishing parts during production. If that appeals to you more than sewing, it’s worth mentioning when you apply. What we’re looking for • Dependable — you show up on time and follow through • A quick learner who can retain multiple steps and stay flexible • Comfortable with basic reading, math, and pattern recognition • Good attitude and willing to work as part of a team Time off: Up to 40 hours paid vacation annually. We observe major holidays — these are unpaid days off.
