Must be familiar with and have the ability to use all power tools, saws, conduit threading machines, wire pullers and knockout punches. Capable of digging trenches either by hand or with power equipment. Operate equipment such as backhoe’s, trenchers, lift trucks and excavators. Must adhere to company safety regulations, haz-com policy and lockout-tagout policy. Must be able to operate two handed tools/equipment such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools and jack hammers. Must be able to read and follow jobsite specific directions, specifications, instructional manuals and blueprints. Must be able to work from an aerial lift. Must be able to supervise jobsite employees such as other electricians and/or apprentice’s to complete an assigned project. Physical Function: Ability to lift 75 pounds.
