East and West Ridge Animal Hospitals , two collaborative sister locations in Klamath Falls, Oregon, are searching for an experienced veterinarian to join our team as Co-Medical Director alongside Dr. Carolyn Whitaker. Qualifications and experience: This is an excellent opportunity for doctors with 3 years of clinical experience who are looking to take the next step in their career and have a devotion to mentorship and teaching. Extra consideration will be given to those with proven leadership skills, tenacity, and adaptability. Must be licensed (or willing to become licensed) in Oregon. As a veterinarian or Co-Medical Director, you'll help Dr. Whitaker lead two companion animal hospitals, primarily focusing on team mentorship, culture, and retention. We're seeking an experienced doctor who will build upon our hospital's current strengths, while enhancing our services and fostering new business ideas. Small animal veterinarians who are confident in surgery and find fulfillment in serving as a mentor would be excellent additions to our team. We're also happy to support and build your personal professional interests (ultrasound, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, urgent care, whatever it may be!) Prior experience with exotics is a plus, but not required. Scheduling: As Co-Medical Director, you will spend time at both of our locations in Klamath Falls (6 miles between the two facilities). This is a full-time, Monday-Saturday role, preferably comprised of 4 ten-hour days, but we're open to discussing alternative options. There are no on-call or emergency after-hours responsibilities in this role. Part-time coverage may also be considered.
