This position supports the fabrication of large and complex industrial machinery weighing up to 100,000 lbs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with structural and custom fabrication work, blueprint reading, and multi-process welding in a job shop environment. Pay & Schedule Pay: $28–$38/hour DOE Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Position Type: Long-Term Key Responsibilities • Perform welding using Hardwire MIG, Fluxcore, TIG, and Stick processes based on project requirements • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings • Use grinders, torches, saws, and fabrication tools to prepare materials for fit-up and welding • Tack, fit, and weld assemblies while maintaining dimensional accuracy • Perform final welds in multiple positions and postures • Conduct first article inspections and verify completed work meets specifications • Troubleshoot and resolve fit-up and fabrication issues during production • Follow all safety procedures and maintain proper PPE usage at all times Required Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment • Strong experience with MIG welding, Fluxcore, TIG, and oxy-fuel torch work • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings • Knowledge of rigging and crane safety practices • Strong attention to detail and quality of work • Ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work throughout the shift Preferred Qualifications • Non-ferrous welding experience • Experience fabricating large industrial equipment or heavy assemblies Weld Test • Flat and vertical dual shield weld test on mild steel required Benefits • Medical • Paid Sick Leave • Paid Holidays • 401(k) with Company Match Work Environment This role operates in a heavy industrial fabrication environment working with large custom equipment and welded assemblies.
