Associate Professor - Medical Oncology, Thoracic Section Chief Join the University of Miami Health System as the Section Chief of Thoracic Oncology. This full‑time faculty role reports to the Division Chief of Medical Oncology and works closely with the Oncology Service Line (OSL). The position leads clinical care, research, education, and quality improvement for thoracic oncology services and oversees training of residents, fellows, and medical students. Responsibilities Direct clinical activities of the thoracic oncology section. Lead instructional and educational activities for trainees and faculty. Oversee the specialty training programs for residents and fellows. Assist in faculty recruitment and participate in division meetings, tumor board, and grand rounds. Exercise fiscal responsibility and manage day‑to‑day activities of the section. Adhere to university, health system, and departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications Applicants must be an active faculty member in medical oncology with demonstrated clinical, research, and teaching excellence. Experience in thoracic oncology and leadership in a section or division is preferred.
