Assisting the licensed practitioner with magnetic resonance interventional procedures. Performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Selecting appropriate pulse sequences with consideration given to established protocols and other factors influencing data acquisition parameters. MRI safety knowledge and participates in MRI Safety implant investigation and approval process. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Position Details One of the following certifications is required upon hire: American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Certification Board (NMTCB) American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) ​ New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry or primary ARRT-MR or NMTCB or ARMRIT prior to first day of employment. Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps required for advancing to level 2, including advanced certification, within 24 months.
