The Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery of Main Line Health, a large tertiary health system located on Philadelphia's suburban Main Line, seeks a full-time Faculty Cardiac Surgeon for our established coronary revascularization program – one of the most advanced in the region. In addition, the successful surgeon will play a leadership role in our Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) and MCS programs. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for working with the cardiac surgical and cardiology teams to maintain and grow the cardiac surgical program with a focus on: Heart failure/VAD Advanced coronary revascularization techniques including on/off-pump CABG Multi-arterial grafting Robotic/MID-CABG and hybrid CABG/PCI options The surgeon will provide coverage of the cardiac surgery service and is expected to have experience in performing general cardiothoracic procedures and on-call duties.
