Graduate Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Day Shift

Description :The Graduate Respiratory Therapist is a member of the health care team who has completed a CoArc approved Registered Respiratory Therapy program. The Graduate Respiratory Therapist may be in this position for up to 180 days. The Graduate Respiratory Therapist may perform care in all areas of the hospital. This care is to include medicated and non-medicated therapy, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, application and titration of oxygen therapy, pulmonary diagnostic testing and arterial blood gas performance and analysis. The Graduate Respiratory Therapist assesses the patient to assist in formulation of a respiratory care plan. Description :Performs all basic radiology and CT exams on patients using correct equipment as required. Greets patients, explaining exams to them and answering any questions. The technologists ensure all exams are correct and diagnostic before releasing patient. The technologist remains current on radiology and CT techniques and procedures. They are willing to work beyond their "normal" working hours, on weekends and holiday's when necessary. They assist the radiologist when needed and is under the direction of the radiology director.
