These physicians will work collaboratively with a highly skilled team to serve the growing needs of the regional pediatric population in Central Texas to deliver world class pediatric heart care. Candidates will possess experience in caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease, in addition to heart failure/transplant/mechanical circulatory support patients. Primary responsibilities will include oversight and provision of direct care to patients as well as guidance of the multidisciplinary cardiac ICU team. Candidates will also participate in coordinated transport/intake efforts to our dedicated, 36 bed Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. A successful candidate will have an appointment within the Department of Pediatrics at Dell Medical School and regular participation in educational activities with medical students, residents, and fellows will be expected.
