The ILS Program promotes training in community living skills and increased socialization opportunities through the provision of daily leisure and psycho-educational activities. The program is staffed with a minimum of one staff member for every eight service recipients 24 hours per day/seven days per week/365 days per year. The program provides services to adults who are age 18 or over and have received inpatient psychiatric treatment for a mental illness or co-occurring disorder. Service recipients must have been discharged from one of the state RMHI's or one of the state contracted providers (SCP's) of inpatient psychiatric services to uninsured adults. Summary of Position: Provides direct care to clients residing in an Intensive Long-Term Support (ILS) program, while also providing nursing support to staff and milieu staff. Responsible for ensuring that each client's mental health and medical health needs are met via the completion of medical assessments, administration of medications, collection of vital signs, etc. Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the program.
