Production Operator
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, Overnight, Production Operator in Germantown, WI! (MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED). (THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT SHIFT!). Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Germantown, WI. In this role, you will work under the direction of the Lead and Supervisor to produce food ingredients while following standardized formulas, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Production Operator Compensation The pay for this position is $24/hr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Production Operator Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Monday night – Friday morning) Production Operator Responsibilities · Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment at all times · Utilize proper PPE, tools, and equipment according to company standards · Operate production and utility equipment in accordance with cGMP, HACCP, and SHE guidelines · Set up, calibrate, and monitor instruments such as pH meters, thermometers, conductivity meters, and metal detection devices · Perform mixing, pH adjustments, transfers, and process sequencing according to SOPs and recipes · Tear down, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment including pumps, mills, grinders, valves, utensils, vessels, and lines · Identify and troubleshoot process deviations, equipment issues, and product variations · Complete accurate documentation and SAP transactions, including process information sheets · Track and maintain inventory for product traceability · Take samples for QA analysis · Perform minor equipment maintenance as needed · Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation schedules · Assist with writing work instructions and maintaining production documentation Production Operator Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and comprehend English Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to lift 50–60 lbs repetitively Ability to wear a respirator as needed Forklift Certified Must be at least 18 years old Willingness to work overtime and a flexible schedule when required Commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards Preferred 1 year of manufacturing or process experience Food manufacturing experience Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience Top Skills Food Manufacturing Experience Mechanical Aptitude / Troubleshooting Attention to Detail If you think this Production Operator position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me—feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
