Join a collegial and supportive group of five providers; including a physician and three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Enjoy an estimated 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient mix: Outpatient, with APPs typically managing inpatient rounding. Oncology consultations provided as needed for hospital admissions. The office is open from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Providers typically see patients from 8 AM to noon and 1 PM to 5 PM. New patient consults scheduled for 60 minutes and follow-ups for 15-30 minutes. Average patient load of 18-25 patients per day. Inpatient rounding by APPs for current practice patients, with admissions managed by the 24/7 hospitalist group. Call is currently handled by phone, 1:3 with very few calls. A triage nurse handles all incoming clinical calls. Call changes at 7 AM, with ED physicians handling phone consults and acute leukemics referred to higher levels of care.
