Qualifications EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. All newly hired registered nurses must have current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire. EXPERIENCE Registered Nurse is the foundational job description for all RNs. All RNs are encouraged to advance through the SPIRE clinical advancement program. LICENSURE Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut. Standing/walking for more than half of the day. Frequently bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting and lifting. MRI Coordinator

Clinical Coordinator responsibilities include assisting Manager in the following areas: overseeing MRI Department daily operations and staff development; staff schedules; Kronos; organization and scheduling of affiliated MRI student programs; quality improvement initiatives; training in new imaging technologies, guidelines and protocols; case review and lecture series; data entry and statistical reporting and patient education. Works with manager to plan , develop, and facilitate modality operations. Overview Yale New Haven Hospital, York Street Campus Medicine MICU / SDU RN Pathway Designed for Medicine RNs interested in critical care, this pathway provides mentorship from critical care leaders, immersive shadowing experiences, and targeted learning focused on ICU and step-down practice readiness. Works under the supervision of the nurse manager/clinical coordinator. The registered nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care on a nursing unit/department according to unit policies and procedures. Provides supervision of non-RN personnel on the assigned unit. When assuming the charge role, delegates and supervises unit activities. May be required to work on other nursing units according to the distribution of staff and patients. Performs other duties as assigned or requested in order to maintain a high level of service.
