Job Description The Cancer and Blood Disorders Department at Childrens Minnesota is seeking a full-time Pediatric Oncology Physician to serve as Program Lead for a newly developed Cell Therapy & Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Program . Childrens Minnesota has received full institutional approval to pursue FACT accreditation with the goal of expanding the care of our cancer and blood disorders patients to include cellular and gene therapies and autologous bone marrow transplantation. Childrens Minnesota is the 10th largest Childrens Hospital in North America. Our pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders program is currently composed of over 200 dedicated professionals, including 21 physicians and 15 nurse practitioners, as well as nurse case managers, pharmacists, rehabilitation therapists, dieticians, genetic counsellors, social workers, child life experts, interpreters, home care, and hospice specialists. We are seeking a mid-career physician with a background in pediatric cellular therapies and bone marrow transplant and a drive for programmatic development. This is a 1.0 FTE position with 0.4 FTE of protected time dedicated to the Cellular Therapies/Autologous Transplant Program Lead role. The remaining 0.6 FTE will be dedicated to the clinical care of oncology patients. The oncology disease focus is dependent on the interests and expertise of the desired candidate. Childrens Minnesota is a teaching hospital to medical students, residents and fellows from the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic. Academic inquiry and research are highly valued, but not required. We have a strong clinical trial program with robust involvement in the Children's Oncology Group (COG) clinical trials. Location: Outpatient clinic in Leesburg, VA. Practice Overview: Broad Scope of Care: Manage a diverse patient demographic (infants to elderly) across the affluent Leesburg/Loudoun County area. See a manageable target volume of roughly 20 patients per day once fully ramped, with appointment times structured in 15-minute increments (30 minutes for complex cases). Clinical Duties: Focus on ortho-focused podiatry, including sports injuries, fractures, breaks, and general foot care (complex wound care is generally referred out). You will handle walk-ins, see new patients, and manage general podiatric needs to help maintain the clinic's smooth daily workflow. Dr. Phipps has extensive experience working with APPs and provides direct mentorship, making this an ideal home for a clinician looking to build a long-term career in specialized orthopedics and podiatry. Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $115,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
